Reading papers on the plane
By Raymond on May 30, 2009 in Efficient life, learning
I just read through 6 scientific papers when I took the airplanes from Beijing to Shanghai and then to Shenzhen. I am not showing off here, but just to show that it is important to make a very good use of our time. Some students say that want to do research, or they want to become professors, but they don’t read frequently. Professors are very busy, but still they can read a lot and keep their mind fresh about the frontiers. In the airport, most passengers who are waiting for boarding just sit there, and have their arm crossed or eyes staring at the air. It is hard to believe that they can be successful in their career.
